Marvin Weinbaum appears on panel for A Pakistan Update 02/22/2010    On February 22, MEI Scholar-in-Residence Marvin Weinbaum appeared on a panel at the Council on Foreign Relations entitled "A Pakistan Update."  Also speaking on the panel was Pakistani journalist and author Ahmed Rashid, while the panel was moderated by Carol A. Giacomo an Editorial Board Member for The New York Times.  Weinbaum and Rashid debated the positive and negative developments that could come out of negotiating with members of the Taliban in Pakistan.  Video and audio can be found on the Council on Foreign Relations' website, and MEI has posted a transcript of the event.
