Batul K. Sadliwala is an international development professional with expertise in civil society engagement and impact assessment in the Middle East. She holds an MA in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University and a BA in International Relations from the American University of Kuwait. Her research interests include migration and development policy as well as citizenship in the Arabian Gulf. Her review of the nexus between famine and migration has been published by the journal Disasters. Batul currently works in the corporate philanthropy sector in Kuwait supporting programs aimed at improving education and youth employment outcomes in the Arab world.
