Kevin Taweel is the Co‐Founder and Chairman of Asurion. Under his leadership, the company has grown from 40 to 20,000+ employees and acquired more than 300 million customers, making it the world’s largest tech care provider.

Prior to founding Asurion, Kevin was chairman and president of investment firm Mill River Corporation and worked in mergers and acquisitions for Salomon Brothers. He’s a faculty member at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB) where he teaches entrepreneurship courses in the MBA program. He also previously served on Stanford GSB’s advisory council and management board and the Board of Trustees at Caltech.

Kevin serves on the Board of Directors of ResponseLink, LLC, a provider of medical alert systems and Banyan Software, Inc., a company focused on acquiring and growing software businesses. Most recently, Kevin joined the Board of Trustees for American University Beirut.

Kevin received a Bachelor`s degree in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and went on to graduate from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1992. In 2001, he was awarded the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
