Xinhui Jiang is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Institute of Chinese Studies at Freie University Berlin, Germany. She received her doctorate in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Delaware, US. Her research interests lie in the field of gender and politics, local governance, and Chinese politics.
