Jerome Drevon is a researcher at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies. He obtained his PhD at Durham University in the UK before completing two research fellowships at the universities of Manchester and Oxford. He is particularly interested in networking and organisational approaches to non-state armed groups. He has completed a forthcoming book on the Egyptian Islamic Jihad and al-Jama'a al-Islamiyya and is currently completing a second monograph on the institutionalisation of armed groups in the current conflict.
