Your contribution to the Middle East Institute Art Gallery helps support talented artists from the region by showcasing their work in the United States capital and facilitating engagement between American and Middle Eastern artists and cultural producers. Donations also support MEI’s free public programming for each exhibition, which helps deepen dialogue and understanding of the role of the region’s artists as changemakers.

Friends of the Gallery

By joining the gallery’s Friends Level, you help MEI mount important exhibits and connect American audiences with Middle Eastern artists.

Friend ($1,000/year)

• Name recognition in annual report and on gallery website
• One ticket to the MEI Annual Gala
• Two tickets to an exclusive MEI cultural event, like an MEI comedy show or arts cocktail

Partner ($2,500/year)

• Friend benefits
• Invitation to private curator/collector-led tour
• Two tickets to the MEI Annual Gala
• Name on MEI Donor Wall for three years

Donor Circles

As part of this exclusive club of donors, your contributions and input will directly support our exhibitions. You are also invited to join an annual MEI-led trip to the region’s most exciting art fair, Art Dubai, to meet with artists, gallerists and influencers.

Director’s Circle ($5,000)

• Two invitations to all VIP exhibition openings
• Oman Library borrowing privileges
• Two invitations to a Middle Eastern cultural event
• Name recognition in Annual Report and on Gallery website
• Invitation to private curator/collector-led tour
• Two invitations to MEI’s Annual Gala
• Name on MEI donor wall for three years
• 10% off MEI space rentals (Gallery, Conference room, or Courtyard)
• Invitation to an MEI-guided tour of a major regional art fair, such as Art Dubai, with access to top cultural leaders (minimum 8 attendees; travel costs not included)

Ambassador’s Circle ($10,000)

• Director’s Circle benefits
• 20% off MEI space rentals (Gallery, Conference room, Garden) for one event
• Name recognition in exhibition catalogue, gallery wall text, and website as supporter of up to two exhibits annually and related programming

President’s Circle ($25,000)

• Ambassador’s Circle benefits
• Option to be recognized as part of an exhibition committee and as key supporter of two exhibits and related programming
• Free rental of either the MEI Gallery, Courtyard, or Conference room for one event

Chairman’s Circle ($50,000)

• Ambassador’s Circle benefits
• Option to be recognized as part of an exhibition committee and key supporter of four exhibits and related programming
• Advisory role to the President and Board of Trustees on defining arts initiatives and programs that advance strategic goals of MEI’s Arts & Culture program
• Option to be named as exclusive sponsor of an exhibition
• One free rental of the MEI Gallery, including Conference room and Courtyard for one event
