The Middle East Institute is pleased to announce its inaugural Climate Week Conference. This four-day virtual conference will convene experts on climate change and its impacts for discussions focused on the key contemporary issues related to climate change facing the Middle East and North Africa, as well as future prospects for adaptation and resilience across sectors.
We are proud to announce that the conference will open with a keynote address by Eng. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Sada, Assistant Undersecretary in the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change for the State of Qatar.
Each day, Tuesday to Thursday, will feature one panel from 9:00–10:15am EDT on resilient cities, disaster preparedness, and climate activism.
