David was an intern in the technology department of the Middle East Institute during the Summer of 2012. He is strongly interested in design and its applications in visual systems as well as in development. A senior at Tufts University, David is majoring in English and international relations; he is also minoring in Arabic. He recently lived abroad in Morocco focusing on Arabic and Arab studies. Before working at the MEI, David conducted a month-long research project in India studying impact and scale of social entrepreneurship and human-centered design.
