Rebekah Wharton is Editor of Digital Publications at MEI's Policy Center. She previously served as Editor and Syria Conflict Tracker for Tesla Government, Inc. She was formerly a Foreign Service Officer with assignments in Damascus, Jerusalem, the Multinational Force and Observers in the Sinai, and the Pol/Mil Bureau of the Department of State. She holds an MA from the Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University and a BA in Middle Eastern Studies from George Washington University. She has studied Arabic, Hebrew, and some French.
