ASDA’A BCW recently published its 12th annual edition of the Arab Youth Survey. The survey examined polling among Arab youth between the age of 18 and 24 from 17 states in the Middle East and North Africa, to uncover the key challenges and obstacles that young people see as they look to the future. Some of the topics covered include: Covid-19, migration, protests, foreign relations, corruption, and gender rights. The Middle East Institute (MEI) is pleased to host a panel of speakers to discuss the findings of the survey, the implications of these results in different contexts, and what young people identify as the key priorities for the future.

What matters most to young people in the region and why? In what ways can the findings of the survey be incorporated into actionable policy? How might economic and sociopolitical dynamics play out differently in the Levant, the Gulf, and North Africa?
