Achref Chibani is a Tunisian journalist, researcher, and civil society activist whose core areas of focus are climate change, renewable energies, and human rights. He was formerly a visiting scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars’ Middle East Program and a Non-Resident Fellow at TIMEP focusing on climate change in the Middle East and North Africa region. His articles have been featured in various media outlets, such as the Arab Center Washington DC, Minority Rights Group, and the Lowy Institute, among others.
