Ezra Mannix is Communications & Outreach Manager at the Middle East Institute (MEI). Ezra has specialized in communications for mission-driven organizations for approximately 10 years. He has extensive experience leading and executing communications plans, managing digital platforms and editorial workflows, creating visual content, and collaborating across teams to drive impact. Most recently, Ezra served as the MENA Communications Manager at the Center for International Private Enterprise, which works at the intersection of democratic and private-sector reform.
Before moving to the Washington, D.C., area in 2018, he lived in Istanbul for seven years, where he taught English at a university and wrote about local culture and regional travel.
Ezra also holds a master’s degree in international relations from The Fletcher School at Tufts University and an undergraduate degree in journalism and international studies from the University of Oregon.
