Hoda Selim

Hoda Selim has been an economist at the Economic Research Forum (ERF) in Cairo since 2011. Previously, she worked for five years at the World Bank’s Cairo Office in the Poverty Reduction and Economic Monitoring Department. She previously held a research-related position at the Global Development Network. She has a BA in economics from Cairo University, an MA in corporate and international finance from Sciences Po in Paris, and a PhD from Sciences Po. She has conducted research on macroeconomic and development policy issues in Egypt and the Arab region, including economic growth, monetary and exchange rate regimes, and the macroeconomics of oil management.
