Sarah Connor is the Staff Director on the Middle East and North Africa subcommittee for the majority under Chairman Brian Mast, where she oversees the MENA regional portfolio as well as functional bureaus and offices under the Under Secretary of Management. Prior to her time with HFAC, Sarah served as the Acting Director for the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Terrorist Financing Targeting Center (TFTC) focused on anti-money laundering and countering the finance of terrorism. She also formerly served four years on Capitol Hill most recently as Congressman Brian Mast’s (FL-21) Legislative Director focused on his foreign policy portfolio. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from American University and a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts Fletcher School.
