Barak Barfi is a Research Fellow at the New America Foundation, where he specializes in Arab and Islamic affairs. His articles have appeared in the Washington Post, Foreign Policy, Jane’s Islamic Affairs Analyst, and The New Republic. His last article, “Al-Qa’ida’s Confused Messaging on Libya” appeared in the August edition of the CTC Sentinel. He has spent the last six months in Libya researching the country’s revolution.
