Craig Browne recently completed a Master's in Arab Studies degree at Georgetown University, where he focused on politics and sectarianism in Syria. He lived in Damascus, Syria between 2010 and 2011, and has worked for the Transnational Crisis Project, the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars on various issues related to Syria. Most recently, he worked for Professor Daniel Neep, researching Syrian citizenship legislation between the 1940s and 1960s.
