
Dalia Aita is supporting Dr. Karen Young’s research on Gulf sovereign investment strategies and the geopolitical influence of GCC states as agents of development finance in the global energy sector. Her work focuses on analyzing outbound foreign direct investment (FDI) flows, mapping GCC renewable energy investments, and examining how these investments shape economic statecraft and regional partnerships. Dalia brings prior experience in fiscal risk analysis and Gulf economic policy from the IMF, alongside governance and institutional resilience research at the Harvard Belfer Center.
