Hassan Isam AlKabbani, Saudi national, was born on 10 December 1966 in Vienna/Austria. He completed his secondary studies in 1985 at ‘Institut Le Rosey’ in Switzerland, and moved to the USA for commencing his university studies in business at Pepperdine University, U.C.L.A.
He started his professional career in 1992 when he joined the BMC & UNITECH Company as their business development manager. In 1998, he was appointed as the director of administration and dredit control of the IKK Group of Companies, a leading Saudi Arabian business group that encompasses many companies in the MENA Region. He was assigned in 1999 the post of vice chairman of the IKK Group of Companies, and was promoted in October 2011 to that of acting chairman. In July 2015 he became chairman of the IKK Group of Companies, a position that he continues to hold in the present, and which involves managing all aspects related to this business group, in and out of Saudi Arabia.
H. I. AlKabbani is a board member of several IKK Group Companies, as well as on that of the Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (Wala'a). He is the honorary consul of Belgium in Saudi Arabia’s Western Region since June 2002, and a member of the Young Presidents’ Association (YPO).
