Ishrat Saleem is a journalist from Pakistan and served on the editorial board of Daily Times before coming to the US. She received BA in English from University of the Punjab. In 2011, she was awarded a graduate fellowship to complete MA in International Relations at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University. During her stay in the US, she worked with Hill+Knowlton Strategies and the Voice of America. She is currently working at the Center for Pakistan Studies at the Middle East Institute as a research associate.
