
Dr. Lior Lehrs is a Policy Fellow and Director of the Program on Israeli-Palestinian Peacemaking at Mitvim, the Israeli Institute for Regional Foreign Policies. He is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute for International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Lior wrote his doctoral dissertation, “Private Peace Entrepreneurs in Conflict Resolution Processes,” in the Department of International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His research topics include theory and history of conflict resolution, negotiation, mediation, and unofficial diplomacy, and he deals with various conflict areas such as the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Northern Ireland, the Cold War, Cyprus, and the Balkans. He was a researcher at the Jerusalem Institute for Policy Research, where he focused on the topic of Jerusalem within Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations, neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, and conflicts in holy sites.
