Mohammad Eskandari was born in Tehran. He completed his MA in Economics at the University of Tehran and then worked as a translator and editor for more than ten years. He is currently a PhD student of Geography at Clark University. His areas of interest lie mainly in development theory, political economy, and the geopolitics of the Middle East.
