Mohammed Alshuwaiter is a legal consultant specialized in international law, human rights, and Yemeni law. He was a Fulbright-Humphrey scholar in law and human rights in Washington, DC, and has an LLM in international legal studies from American University Washington College of Law. Mohammed has provided consulting services to a number of international organizations, including the World Bank. He completed his law degree in Yemen, where he worked as a constitutional consultant with the Rapporteur of the Constitutional Drafting Committee and a legal researcher with the Ministry of Justice.
