Najat Rahman is Associate Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Montreal. She is author of Literary Disinheritance: Home in the Writings of Mahmoud Darwish and Assia Djebar (Lexington Books,2008) and co-editor of Exile’s Poet, Mahmoud Darwish: Critical Essays (Interlink Books, 2008).
