Nasir Almasri is a Graduate Fellow in the Program on Palestine at the Middle East Institute. He is also a Research Fellow with the Middle East Initiative at Harvard Kennedy School and a PhD Candidate in Political Science at MIT. His research interests include social movements, state violence, political economy, and regional power competition in the Middle East and North Africa. He received his BS in political science and BA in History from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and his MA in International Relations from the University of Chicago.
