Natana J. DeLong-Bas is the author of Wahhabi Islam: From Revival and Reform to Global Jihad (rev. ed, Oxford University Press, 2008) and Jihad for Islam: The Struggle for the Future of Saudi Arabia (Oxford University Press, forthcoming 2010), as well as Deputy Editor for The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Islamic World (Oxford University Press, 2008) and Oxford Islamic Studies Online (launched 2008). Her current research focuses on major voices countering the jihadist message throughout the Arab world.
