
Robert Scott Vierick is a library intern at the Middle East Institute. After graduating from the College of William and Mary with a double-major in history and government, he hopes to pursue a career in public history. While an intern, Scott researched the challenges of political and economic development in the Middle East. He previously spent a semester at the University of Exeter in Great Britain, where he researched the effects of fossil fuels on democratization in the Gulf States.
