Dr. Shalamu Abudu is a Professor, Associate Director at Xinjiang Institute of Water Resources Research. His areas of expertise include hydrology, irrigation and drainage engineering. He has over twenty years of experience in efficient use of water in agriculture; design, construction and management of traditional and advanced irrigation systems. He received his Ph.D degree from New Mexico State University, USA and his Master's and Bachelor’s degrees from Hohai University, China.
