Tamirace Fakhoury is Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs and Associate Director of the Institute for Social Justice and Conflict Resolution (ISJCR) Lebanese American University. In summer 2012 and 2013, she was appointed as visiting lecturer at University of California in Berkeley (UCB). Fakhoury is a Global Policy Migration Associate at GMPA, Geneva (http://www.globalmigrationpolicy.org/index.html). From 2003 to 2007, she was a scientific researcher at the Arnold Bergstraesser Institute for socio-political research in Freiburg, Germany. Before her appointment as an assistant professor at LAU in fall 2011, she was a research fellow in charge of the socio-political module in the CARIM project at the Robert Schuman Center for Advanced Studies at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, Italy. In 2010/2011, Fakhoury earned the Jean Monnet fellowship (Vincent Wright Fellowship in Comparative Politics) at the EUI. In spring 2011, she was appointed as a visiting postdoctoral scholar at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at UCB.
