Eric Eyges is dual M.A. candidate at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and the Center for Middle Eastern Studies, both at the University of Texas at Austin. Before coming to UT, Eric worked as an Arabic linguist in Iraq and taught English in Syria. His interests include MENA region political, economic, and energy issues.
