First Friday Open House

MEI is hosting “Keyword: Palestine II,” an art auction of works donated by Palestinian and Arab artists to support The Institute for Palestine Studies-USA (IPS). Come check out the 150 artists on view during our First Friday Open House from 6pm-8pm.

The exhibition will run through March 25th and features leading Arab artists, including Palestinian artists Samia Halaby, Sliman Mansour and Abdul Rahman Katanani; Iraqi artists Dia Azzawi and Serwan Baran; and Egyptian artists Adel el-Siwi and Wael Shawky.

All proceeds from the sales will go to support IPS, a non-profit research center with offices in both Washington, DC and Beirut that provides independent scholarly research and analysis on Palestinian and Arab affairs.

The event is free and open to the public. If you are unable to join us this Friday, our gallery is open daily Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 5 pm. Follow us @MEIArtsCulture
