About the fellowship
Frontier Europe Initiative’s Title VIII fellowship is provided through a grant of the State Department to develop, support, and deepen U.S. expertise on the countries of Eastern Europe and Eurasia. The fellowship brings regional expertise to the service of the U.S. government to contribute to U.S. knowledge and national capability. FEI Title VIII fellows conduct research in the U.S. and in the extended Black Sea region to explore and deepen public understanding of critical political, security, economic, and social issues that shape regional stability, security, and development.
