Dr. Bahman Maleki is an independent researcher in Iran. He earned a Ph.D. in Politics from the University of Pune, India. His field of interest is the process of democratic development in the Middle East and North Africa. He is the author of “US Foreign Policy, Liberalism and Peace,” Politico-International Studies, Iran’s Foreign Affairs (December 2012).
Iran-India relations are far-reaching and multidimensional. However, a variety of issues, including the upheaval in the Middle East and North Africa, U.S and Israeli influence over the region, Iran-Israel belligerence, and terrorism all constrain bilateral diplomacy.
