Carlo Bonura

Dr. Carlo Bonura is a comparative political theorist in the Department of Politics and International Studies at SOAS, the University of London. His research examines contemporary Islamic political thought in Southeast Asia.  He is currently completing a manuscript entitled Logics of Comparison: the Conceptualization of Islamic Liberalism and Comparative Political Thought that examines debates of Islamic liberalism in Malaysia and Indonesia. His research also focus on Thai politics and the ongoing conflict in southern Thailand.
