Chris Longman is the Senior Director of International Business Development for SNC’s ISR, Aviation & Security (IAS) business area. In this role, he is responsible for developing growth strategies within a portfolio that focuses on customer solutions spanning from classified ISR capabilities to cyber security programs to missile defense. Chris is responsible for defining and analyzing business development opportunities, executing capture strategies, and managing Partner Nation relationships globally. He joined the company in 2021 as the Manager for International Business and Policy in SNC’s Washington, D.C. corporate office.
Prior to joining SNC, Chris was the Internal Communications Officer for the Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA). He was responsible for the development, management, and execution of internal communication plans for the DSCA Director. Chris also served as the Strategic Engagement and Trade Show Coordinator for the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Defense Exports and Cooperation (DASA DE&C). In this capacity, he was the lead coordinator for U.S. Army participation in International Defense Trade Shows held worldwide. He also supported the management and execution of international strategic engagement plans for the Army Acquisition Executive and Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology) (ASA AL&T). Chris also spent time working International Programs for Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Prior to working for the U.S. Army, Chris worked for Locke Lord Strategies, a government relations firm in Washington, D.C. While at Locke Lord Strategies, Chris aided the implementation of a full-service government relations strategy for the Embassy of Pakistan and the Pakistani Ambassador to the U.S. Chris is a graduate of The Elliott School of International Affairs at The George Washington University. He lives with his wife and son in Arlington, VA.
