Dan McEwan leverages an eclectic knowledge of technical possibilities — from microprocessors to open source software contributions — to develop cutting-edge software tools and websites. With a history of building websites for clients ranging from the US House of Representatives to al-Jazeera, Dan is now working to advance the mission of the Middle East Institute by expanding the institute’s web presence and bringing MEI’s mission to a broader audience. Beyond just technology, Dan has an academic background in medieval Middle Eastern history and studied Arabic at the University of Jordan in Amman.
