Eliane N. Fersan is Director of the Youth and Culture Center (YCC) in Lebanon (http://ycczouk.wordpress.com). She holds a Master 2 in History from Université Saint Esprit de Kaslik (USEK) and was previously Associate Researcher at the Lebanese Emigration Research Center (LERC) at Notre Dame University–Louaize in Lebanon. She conducted extensive research and indexing on the E-Levant series of the archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France as well as the Maronite Patriarchal Archives of Bkerke. She has also conducted research on early Lebanese migration and the naturalization process under French Mandate. She is currently active in the field of sustainable development, democracy, and human rights.
