Mahasen El Imam is a Jordanian journalist. She is the founder and Director of the Arab Women Media Centre (AWMC), an organization that aims to help Arab women journalists in their careers and to help them promote women’s issues. Mahasen was the first women to be accepted by the Jordanian Press Association [JPA] as a registered journalist. She was also editor-in-chief of Al-Bilad, one of Jordan’s most popular weekly newspapers.
