William Gerhardt is an intern at the Middle East Institute. He is currently completing a BA degree at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. At George Mason, he double majors in History and Conflict Analysis & Resolution with concentrations in international conflict, North Africa and the Middle East, and American Military history. William also serves as the Vice President of Academic affairs for the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity—Gamma Xi chapter—at George Mason University. Upon graduation, William intends to pursue a career related to the Middle East.
